Obviously not the main worry right now, but I use this:

to assemble exhausts. It stops all leaks and the exhaust is really easy to disassemble afterwards as well if desired. I smear it liberally on the insides of the joints and sometimes a bit on the outside too.
If it is leaking around a clamp rather than an exhaust crack which will keep growing a smear of that stuff over it should seal it.
