Driving gets a lot better when you leave Norway 
Other countries have fixed a bit on their roads in the recent years. Not like us, where we haven't touched most of the roads since the Germans built em in the 40's.. 
Remember your passport. This is the only ID that is valid, since we don't have ID cards like the rest of Europe.
