I've consulted my Dad on this topic who has built a Mini1275gt from the ground up and is in the process of building it again. He's not a Peugeot guy but he knows his stuff on engines so I asked anyway. He said to leave the spi in and just get a decent induction kit with a cold air feed, good exhaust and a chip or remap. He said that's the easiest and cheapest way to get more power out of this engine. Any thoughts ?
Just to keep in mind I really don't want to spend much on this engine as I'm getting a D Turbo for the xud build so this is gonna be a daily for a while then most likely a show queen. I currently daily a bmw 318i which will be changed for a Toyota Altezza or Lexus IS200 this year so
