Rules on selling a new contract phone?

Call your provider and check if they locked the phone, or just your bundle? Is it bundle you call it? Thats what it says on vodafone at least. In Norway we call em subscriptions, even if they are not on timed contracts, just open. If the phone is locked, it will probably be locked you your provider and not your simnumber. So you could at least sell it to someone with the same provider.

We never lock the phones anymore. The customers have to signt a 12month contract for their sub or whatever you call it But they are free to do whatever with the phone.
