apparently if the temp sensor terminal to the right and lower down to the thermostat is disconnected, the fans will come on as a fail safe??
also expansion tank thread, disconnect the terminal plug on the air con thingimmy on the lhs by the front wing/headlight, and bridge certain terminals in that, if you then press the air con button, the fans will come on??
I had a concern recently about the fans not coming on.
with the engine hot and temp gauge showing nearly 100, the fans didn't come on ( cuts in 98 degrees?? and cuts out 92 degrees? ) so I fiddled with the temp gauge terminal mentioned, and the fans can one.....maybe temp was reached when I touch the terminal; or maybe terminals where as bit loose and dodgy connection, I dont know....
craig says...if you look in the o.s.f wing there is a air con pipe with a connector on it (behide the head light) , pull it off and put a wire on pins 1 and 3, put the air con on and the fans should come on.
I will try this this weekend.
