I was on session 1 & 3. Those R888's messed us up a little though "/ I felt I would have been quicker on my old ones.
The R888's definitely grip more but there was a downside to this that made me slower
, braking and accelerating in a straight line I couldn't fault was able to brake later and corner entry was faster. Acceleration wise wasn't to much different because we never got in to first....
The biggest downfall was coming out of corners or high speed corners, my theory would be that the outside tyre was gripping more than the old, allowing for more weight transfer allowing the inside to spin more as we still don't have a diff yet "/ This was the bane of the day "/. Plus we were on the SG compound R888's which I'm pretty sure are slower in the hot weather.
I'm not saying any of this to make excuses etc... just telling people in case they're interested for their cars
