How do you buy anything? Must have to actually leave the house? Deal with the public? Use real money? Find the item has sold out so have to go to 5 other shops? Collect the item yourself and pay more in fuel than postage would've cost?
Think I'll stick with ebay and paypal...
I'll stick with knowing the right people, buying locally and paying cash, getting what i desperately need without having to wait and then be at home all day to only be taking a dump when the delivery guy comes round so i have to drive 30 miles to the nearest obscure courier depot to collect my 99p with £45 postage cheap knock off chinese replica of whatever it is that i was trying to buy.
Nice one toseland, i would however still like to donate some money to the club if possible
Lol, each to their own I guess. Literally only yesterday I spent nearly 3 hours and several pounds of diesel looking for something in those conventional shops...couldn't find one anywhere. Came home and sat on the loo on my phone wifi, 5 mins later had bought and paid for the item and it arrived today, free postage too...

Also the local couriers know I spend all day having a dump so just leave parcels in a safe place for me.

Local bargains and knowing the right people would be useful....but I don't see how it totally makes up for lacking ebay.

Anyway, back on topic, nice to see we've got more than enough now.
