Welcome to the club
Cabbies seem to be getting a bit thin on the ground now, especially ones that have been looked after well but providing you aren't in a rush, I'm sure you will find something! The cabby came in a few colours that the other models didnt (sundance yellow and a burnt orange colour spring to mind) and also got things like full leather seats (black, tan and red colours) as well as leather door cards.
Cabby specific issues, i don't think there is any really. The roof mechanisms are about as reliable as most other cabriolets and even if yours fails, its a simple system and second hand spares are fairly plentiful. General 306 things to check are rear axles cambering (park on level ground and get down behind the car and look at the wheels. You may find one or both rear wheels have cambered quite badly. New axle time then!), rust around the front sub frame mounts where the car has been incorrectly jacked up in the past, worn front suspension bushes (listen for clunks and knocks. Suspension refreshes are fairly cheap but obviously if you can avoid it, the better!). Air con never works. If it does work, you must be friends with the virgin Mary! Engine cooling fans can fail. Normally water ingress in the plug to the fans which can be fixed easily. Other than that, its just usual things you would expect from a old car!
