Sorry if i'm insulting your intelligence here, but thought it might be worth mentioning...
Stick in 4 litres to begin with, run the engine for a minute then leave it to settle for a while. Then check the dipstick - this'll give you a more accurate reading and mean you don't end up over-filling (you'll never get 100% of the old oil out, so won't need the whole 4.5l).
