It looks like you've trapped a metal octopus in the car by dropping an engine on it

Damn, you've uncovered my secret plan! I'll let you in on a trade secret; the most difficult part isn't tying it's legs down, but actually persuading the octopus to blow down the inlet once you've finished.

I like the fact the radiator appears to have a proper lower hose attachment and space round either side for pipes.

Ikr... It also has all the fittings in more or less the right place and size to make conversion as easy as possible.

That's off a fiesta 1.8td, can be had new from Nissens for less than £50.

Almost certainly. Power isn't my main aim for this build anyway, that'll be the easy bit, it's the reduced pumping losses i'm interested in.
