Depends if it's down to the metal, you could make that look better but I have a feeling its down to metal which means it'll need paint.

You might be lucky and be able to use a touch up pen & then find someone local to you with a DA polisher who can get it looking better.

Get yourself on detailing world & ask if they think it's gonna need paint or not, it's amazing what some of those guys have saved.
