One of the lads had to get rid of his little 998cc metro city as he was too young to insure it on a classic car policy, even standard insurance wasn't keen on it due to the age of it too. So you will have to be careful tom on what you age of car you buy.
Even the 15 year old classic policy that some insurance's have, only recognise certain types of cars, I pulled chris knott for that about the gta 16v, as that was 17 years old at the time and wasn't modded, they said that the car didn't comply for what it is, I told him that your advertisement is highly miss leading then! as it stated all cars that are 15 years plus. They sharp pulled the advert after that.
I found classicline to be like that, only accept certain types of cars and certain versions of a particular model
it is very miss leading isn't it! you have to be careful on the age of car you buy too!
I had a chat with a fella who owned the last BX in sunderland, it was the same age as my egg beater, His 19 year old daughter couldn't get insured on it as a second driver, due to the fact the car was too old for her! He argued like hell with them about that! the car was only a 1.6 too!
