A: Tow bars were never an optional extra according to legend. I think they found "towing turbulance" to be a be problem with stability.

A: After some shifting around the barn it looks like this might have been a pre-production model. These didn't have lights as it was thought to be a really bad idea flying at night. Driving it in daylight is mental enough!
