whats with the tape on the bonnet? Is it a scrutineering thing to make sure you don't change anything under there?

We had issues with the front of the bonnet flapping as it's fibreglass and no front catch, it's just held on with aerocatches. The tape held it down until I came up with a better solution which you can just about spot in some of the end photos. I've drilled a hole through the bonnet badge and replaced the central bolt that holds the grill on with a longer one which goes through the bonnet badge hole. Not perfect but looks a lot better than tape!
