Speed isn't dangerous on its own anyway it's other factors that cause accidents that are then compounded by the speed of the vehicle.

Yet you apparently paint speed cameras yellow to point out they're to make the roads safer - not to generate money.
Ahhhhhhh so it IS about generating revenue, since if I didn't flash my lights, they wouldn't be speeding and you wouldn't make any money.

30mph IMHO is MORE than enough in built up areas... It's just that they've gotten f*cking stupid with making too many places a 30 zone.
It's the whole cry wolf scenario - you piss off everyone with speed limits in silly places - soon as they see a 30 sign they'll think "bah, everyone knows 30 means it's ok to do 40"...
However I've gotta say - I've managed in over 150k of driving now to not get caught for speeding. The solution as a general rule is A. Not to speed and if you do speed B. Don't get caught.
