I loved mine but they are only fun past 4500rpm and you have to keep it on cam to be fast. If you drop off cam on a gear shift you'll feel dead.
They drink fuel. Mine average 23mpg through my entire ownership but it was reliable. Only a snapped door handle and dead alternator in my ownership.
It's a car that encourages you to go faster and faster and even at the top of 5th they are still accelerating well. Only in 6th (past 130mph) do they loose the fast feeling.
