Is anyone teetotal?

My downtime is usually spent drinking, but this down to the fact that I don’t have any worldly possessions due to being in a new country. I used to spend so much time on personal projects, like car, garage, making things etc, maybe join a club like RC car racing or join a gym or something so you have something to build towards.

I find it difficult to focus on personal projects without actually owning any tools/materials.
