Right - I've looked further, I'm talking out my ass.

So infact, this depends on the GVW of the Kuga. Which apparently is 2250KG - in which case you are definitely not allowed to tow that.

Kuga GVW (2250) + Tasty Ifor Williams (750) = 3000KG

You can stick 500kg on the trailer.
