Exactly what I was thinking.
Seems bizarre to do the headgasket 300 miles ago and then refit a 14k mile old cambelt too, although the lengths that people go to in order to save a few quid and do the bare minimum to complete a job rather than proactively doing related jobs never fails to astound me.
