HDI ticking noise from passenger airbag

Interior fan recirc flap in the heater box. Mine does the same albeit very quietly.

Is that for sure? I was told it was the air con needing re-gassing - is there a way to stop it? Mines really loud and very annoying and i dont want to re-gas it as i never use the a/c

No its not the AC. Who ever told you that is speaking rubbish. Its the recirc flap motor which I'm sure you could remove and refurbish but thats a dash out job so i wouldn't bother personally.
