Its pretty much easier for me to remove my engine if I want to look at the VNT down the back, but the primary blower takes all of 2 minutes to remove 
If you move the blower further down towards the driveshafts you can fit a turbo the size of a football down there. Remember the block sits at 60 degrees so the lower you go down the more space.
