That's not really a going rate to be fair, just a bloke in his garage doing it on the side I suspect. Still would be tempting if I didn't live about 200 miles away, although I'm not sure i'd chance it with a cambelt no matter how good his reputation - if the worst were to happen you'd be f*cked.
He used to be a Peugeot master tech and now works on planes i think. I know several people who have used him who say he is very good.
I'm not saying he isn't, but you can understand how not having work done with a registered business is risky should something go wrong (no matter how remote).
