Drivers side, drive shaft question

Yeah i just hope the shaft lasts now, i had a new one in the back of the car ready to go on, and i was going to just fit it, but when i got the old one out and compared it to the new one, Euro car parts had given me the wrong shaft, so the old one had to go back in. No one else near me had one in stock all of them said it was a special order part.
