Most "lanky" / "skinny" people would vomit eating 4000 kcal a day let alone 6500.
Sean I'd probably invest £50 in a large 4/5KG tub of weight gainer / protein shake and take two a day with any type of milk and see if that helps.
Also look at "Starting Strength" by Mark Ripptoe if you want to gain size and strength rather then just look big.
I personally think training for strength is the best way to train, you might not look as ripped as you could if you did a different routine but you'll be genuinely stronger/healthier and physically fitter. The 6 pack will follow within a year or so (I hope)! Haven't quite got there myself yet haha!
