Lol, as above, it's behind the battery, in its own separate compartment of the battery box on the 1.4.

You'll also need to change the BSI (immobiliser box) which is at the bottom of the centre dash, roughly behind the cig lighter, in that area. You don't need to change the pickup around the barrel as it's just a 'reader' rather than containing a code. And you also don't need to change the key barrel, just swap your key blade onto the replacement key fob.

For all that hassle it might just be easier to get it recoded.
