How do you adjust the handbrake on a 306?

samass Wrote:you've got to take the handbrake surround off, two screws underneath the rear ashtray, then there's a 13mm bolt underneath the carpet which adjusts the cables. wind it on a bit, test the movement on the lever, and adjust as necessary. id suggest taking it up the road to test it before putting the trim back on, PITA of you dont get it right first time.
hope this helps

I have ajusted the handbreak it was high. Now it clicks to about 4 now. It holds alittle better but if you try to drive it still doesn't hold enough.

Whats next wheels of then drums then?

thanks
