how low on the front?

Having larger profile tyres won't help you as much. But when the car is lowered it puts a lot of strain on the wishbones, p pushes in particular as it is permanently sitting at an angle. I'm fairly sure on the 6 forum somewhere you can buy something that levels it out again.. Drop links seem to take more of a beating too
