I think people need to take a step back and realise in the UK we aren't 'bouncers' anymore we don't get paid to hit people or get hit, bouncers were usually tough people and known for it. Door supervisors however don't get paid to be hit by people or to give people a slap when they misbehave.
People say 'comes with the job' it actually doesn't, the course the SIA set is there for people to calm a situation down by talking someone down, rather than give it the big one and throw them out..
The reason I picked to be a doorman, the money is great and I don't drink anyway.. I work through the week then work weekends on the doors for some cash to treat my baby like a princess. I just wanted some advice on what insurance would be good for my situation incase something does happen then my baby goes without.
