Lucas pump that has been sat for a year

Got the old lucas pump from my car, been sitting around for a year since I changed to bosch. It's in the box that the bosch came in which is soggy with diesel and it's wrapped up in a couple bin bags.

I think it has a little diesel left in, any other way of checking if it's ok?

If it's f*cked, how well do injectors survive?

Want to get rid but don't want to throw it if I can get a bit on ebay.
