All you're spouting is theory about weight distribution. Unless you've actually driven an XU10 engined 106/Saxo you can't really judge..
Yes it may feel more front heavy, but doesn't mean the handling will be ruined...
i havnt driven a xu10 saxo no, but ive driven a corsa b with c20let engine conversion, i dont think thats quite as heavy as an xu, but similar size car to engine weight sorta thing, anyway even with £2k of suspension and even more thousands having it set up properly and with welded in cage and all that jazz, getting it around a corner without chronic understeer due to the vast weight so far up front was nearly impossible. i stand by my previous statement that it will ruin the only merit of the car by putting a great lump of cast iron under the bonnet
