I think it is fair to say at this point, and also to reiterate a point raised before. We will NOT be able to bet breakdown cover abroad on a car over 10 years old. So you need to know you can make the trip, or if not, that you are happy to fix/bodge stuff on the roadside using anything you can lay your hands on.
I'll have a tow rope and a full toolkit, enough to do anything we need, but i'm just making the point
