Only been pulled twice, both were in my old DT and neither times were for naughtiness. First time was an unmarked Merc which I'd already spotted and pointed out to my mate, for tints being too dark on the front (on it when I bought it). I pleaded ignorance... "oh really, I didn't know..." 
apparently he didn't have his tester on him... so told me to remove them when I got home.
Second tome was just mistaken identity, and after confirming that one of them just chatted to me about the car and was surprised it was diesel (as subtle as the XUD is...).
