Just tried fitting my auto dim rear view mirror using the guide on the forum (hant got a rain sensor) and I was wiring it to the centre lights well the little white box and I used the brown 12v and the yellow earth as said in the guide. I wired it all up fine but it started to burn and melt the wires 
and now the car won't hold no charge from the alternator. Iv checked all the fuses and the lighting fuse was totally melted so Iv changed that and still no luck. Is there any chance at the has totally fcuked the alternator up?
