I'm sorry dude, I hate to be the pain in the arse who argues this but your mate must be a shite driver or have an auto. Bear in mind though the Corrado has a lot more power and torque than the Golf, hence 0-60 in 6.7 to the Golfs 7.4. And in the twisties a Corrado is every bit as good as a 306, it's a mk2 Golf front suspension setup and Passat at the back, it's FAR better than a mk3 Golf.

On a side note, I really want a VR6 Corrado...

Nope, not a shite driver, he's been driving longer than i have! It's a 5 speed manual.. Also Andy was in my passenger seat and another mate of mine in the vr's passenger seat.. He didn't even start to gain anything until about 130.. bare in mind that was also before i had the de-cat fitted, Andy can verify all the above

Fair enough, maybe I've driven some mint VR6 Golfs and some knackered '6s then, but I still maintain that a Corrado VR6 will outdrag a '6, we weren't talking about Golfs after all...

I had another idea as well, surely a mk3 Supra Twin Turbo would be in that price range?
