Very tricky thing, and I will probably be biased because my dad (who I don't know) was abusive to my mum.. To the point where I don't know if when I was conceived it was consented!!
I couldn't stand by and watch a woman get hurt by a man (unless this is some coronation street storyline)
I am the least violent person you would ever meet (read. Pussy) however when it comes to things like that instinct kicks in and I would quite happily beat the living crap out of a man for doing that, I think it's wrong and that goes for all violence towards someone less able then yourself (sex, age, disability). I just hope that it hasn't affected your job
