Left fan not working

I'm not sure on the solution but I have a set of fans here from a GTi, I'm not too far from you, or failing that I could bring them to the Christmas meet Only want a tenner for them

Already got some, but they have an additional plug on them which seems to have to be connected for power. My car doesn't have this plug (it's blue)

ok remove the plug to the fan cowling down the left hand/passenger side of the radiator and check all the pins for corrosion. Clean them all up

Tried that when I had it apart. A couple of the contacts were corroded and I scraped them off with a screwdriver (all I had with me) and still nowt.
