You can run a TU like 6 teeth out IIRC, probably be OK, it won't run like that, but you hopefully haven't damaged anything...

1.1s are all good with the old screwdriver underneath the valve, bend it back, make sure it seals - jobs a goodun... They're not all finnicky and fragile like GTI6s etc...
