MPG calculator?

It did yes, it doesnt defy logic at all. It just happens that due to where I live and the driving I do, plus my anal driving style tailored for mpg, that I get better mpg than most people. The avensis is averaging 42mpg ffs lol, I wasnt expecting more than 35!

However I always calculate mine properly, those computer things are never accurate, even the scangauge ones, mainly because they default to 99.9mpg downhill, I mean WTF, that throws the average reading out, it shouldnt read anything at all coasting downhill when the injectors shut off, the golf goes to dashes which is a better idea but still not perfect.

The only real way to do it is to fill up properly, with the same pump, to the click each time. Then either use a calculator OR stick the figures in here - http://www.torquecars.com/tools/uk-mpg-calculator.php - which gives you ppm and stuff too, requiring almost no brain power. Smile
