It is yes.

Just driving it home then, after 2/3 minutes, the low water fuel light kept flashing on and off, but there wasn't silly amounts of water that had escaped. So filled it up and after about 40mins of driving, it was still near enough full, the level went down a little.

I didn't exceed 40mph and engine temp didn't rise above 70, is there some kind of point where it gets to and then just drains for the fun of it??

Massive explosion of water though when i released the cap!
