A Vauxfail engine in a Pug???? It shouldn't ever happen as vauxhall are just terrible and they haven't built a good engine since the 2.0 16v that used to power the Astra GTE intercontinental ballistic missile which iirc had a 0-60 of 6.9 secs
Only other possible conversion I would suggest for you Honda Accord type R or the earlier civic R lump very reliable engines and very tuneable.
