Hmmm. Stunning is being very kind to be honest. Theres rust showing already in engine bay and front n rear bumpers aint great.
Bonnet been resprayed by previous owner (frostys boss)...badly too...hoping the polish n wax will cover it rather than highlight it!!

Forgot I had a 'gti' boot trim that I threw some flock at many months ago...
so wacked that in, along with some tidying of the wiring...
Boot looks so much better not that it will last long, being a boot n all

307 auto dim mirror wired in....working spot on...well happy.
Also got home after a boost tastic drive, parked up in the sun and left it running.
It gets up to temp, stat opens and fans come on when they should.
Laser thermo shows 88degree at top of rad and 38/39 at bottom with fans on...

too much?? or too OCD?
(doing the matrix soon..........thinking of flocking the dash!)
well, FCS was a cracking day out...and the girlfriend didnt miss a beat!
Im spurred on now to get the GT2256V fitted, just waiting for some wages and I can order the Arduino stuff and start the headaches and late nights.
Only annoyance is the slight wheel wobble at certain speeds/loads. Very annoying
Anyway, she has never been SO clean, so thought I would pic whore a bit...
I love how it looks in monotone, so may use these or go out to a better location and take similar shots and get a multi canvass done, esp as the exterior is pretty much finished

I'm no expert but pretty sure you will lift the head with this? Or you already planed arp's?
Either way if you pull this one off it should be epic!

If I need ARPs I will use them....then I can rework a new head and custom manifolds at same time.
But I have some hope in these headbolts that I have fitted.

I wont have mine fitted for a while. Think I might buy a welder depending on how much I earn this month though as the £100 sealey gasless mig looks like a good proposition.
You dont happen to have a template for the standard 2.1TD turbo manifold flange?

Theres two different manifold/flanges mate
I have a spare manifold and GT15 off a 2.1 though... So could make a template for you from that but not sure if it be the right one

Why on earth would it cause him to lift the head?
