Stepper motor

Hi, i have a problem with my stepper motor, can u tell me what to do?? Did I must to bye a new one or i can clean it the old one?
And where is the position of the stepper motor?
I buy it a 306 with engine from xantia 2.0 16v and the engine is the same one of s16 (I think) and the owner before me changed the engine.
I will post a pic from the engine and u ill see where is the stepper motor. Thanks[attachment=26438]

Hi,

   Your engine in the attached picture was the XU10J4, The stepping Motor as in the purple circle but didn't in the original location.  And normally, this type of stepping Motor are more reliable than GTi-6 & 2.0 16V RFV (XU10J4R) !


   For the original location of stepping Motor, I have a picture of my friend's as below ;
