So my Missus killed her C3 off in fantastic fasion.
She came home and complained the clutch was slipping. I told her to be gentle on it for another day and I will replace it on the weekend. Then the gearbox went bang and ended up with a massive hole in it's side.


So the replacement...



I do love the colour, even if it does resemble polished primer. 



DAB Radio...


Full trip computer with average MPG, continuous MPG, range and many distance computers.



And a reversing camera complete with my Focus and Bertie the cat.

What gives you that idea? It came from Citroen London West in Chiswick i think but they are one of the biggest Citroen dealers in the south so wouldn't surprise me if they do offer big discounts.

Im more worried about the amount of Kia parts i can see in there. Enjoy your single wipe sticking on

The fact that in his Focus thread he's said he's put his missus' plate on his car because they can't put it on her new lease car.

So the 'money we paid for it' is actually the price they're renting it for.

Better value for money than your Focus, will do more mpg'z as well... Shame they didn't sort the awful ride but the seats are much nicer tbf. It's still only the 1.0 in the citroens though isn't it? I'd have preferred the 1.2 from the 108 tbh.

I don't like the colour but each to their own I guess...would imagine they almost give them away in that colour?

We paid a £200 deposit and it's £83 a month. Couldn't go wrong really. I was paying out more in maintenance on her 10 year old cars.

I quite like it, the old C1 was one of just 2 cars ive ever driven where I could actually get the seat far enough back as standard.

£83 a month is a bargain. Is that on "just add fuel"?

Citroen don't do just add fuel...that's Peugeot...

Interestingly, the C1 is one of very few cars that my short sister could get the seat far enough forward in...they must have some serious seat adjustment!

We got the car from a company called Gateway2Lease. Very happy with the car, a bit gutted that there isn't actually a purchase option because Becca wants to buy it.

There will be at the end of the lease. Phone them a few months before the lease end and ask how much they would want for the car then try and knock 1k off. They will nearly always give you a price for it because its easier rather than them collecting it and taking it to auction.

I hope that's the case. I'll be phoning Citroen finance when there is a few weeks left.
