Yes guys unfortunately after popping up to confirm numbers chase up about the tie downs I was told by Clives mum I do believe it is he wasn't in and would chase it up. I was then told via phone via the old lady rather snoterly as she ever is it was going to be cancelled. I was given several reasons as to why to some of which I feel we're made up given that date was picked by them as it was free and he loves our RR day more than the mx5 nutz day.
Last year a great number of cars came and Clive couldn't believe how much was made on the day. I quote "a healthy boost to the takings" My own honest opinion is I feel the issue was tieing cars down Clive only had tie downs for rear wheel drive cars. I'd repeatedly asked for them to be put in literally 2-4 rag bolts in the floor costing less than £30 and half an hours work even Phillip (Rippthrough) offered that me and him to do it. But Clive hadn't sorted it.
Unfortunately I'v tried various places to book and most just want to much money for very little in return

Yer we need at min of 2 runs to be fair, why doesn't some one team together with jenks to help him set it up as it's clear jenks is struggling abit with it and unfair the pressure is all on jenks to sort.
I would help but I'm useless at this and no idea were to start.

Such a shame, its their loss if it is the case of them not willing to invest £30 to make £200+
If anything else ca be booked is appreciate it as really would like to know if the hg swap,skim, manifold have done anything to the performance against last year

Shame, seen all the shizzle on facebook. The lack of tie downs there was sketchy though! I wont be there now as I've got the chance to get back to Scotland ride Glentress and Innerleithen..too good to turn down

The only issue I can see is probably 2 3rds of those who were going won't travel to Manchester. There was a fair amount On this forum going but around 10 others were else where and won't travel. So realistically now there's probably only 5 going. I my self won't be able to go now as I'm pulling the van off the road that weekend.
