		People say that it ruins the seals in the pump iirc. Some pumps can run for years without a problem, whereas others will give up after a couple of weeks, if not days. 		Put it in and find out I hurd of a few people do it with out issue and other people put some in start it and pump shit it's self soon as it pulls it though, just have a bosch at the ready to stick on and go for it see what happens.

		Hoping I'm one of the lucky ones as I ran out of diesel and had 40l of veg on the boot and just stuck 20l in seems to be running fine but I guess I should mix it really

		Bosch is self lubricating Lucas isn't Due to lack of lubrication pump could seize chuck cambelt off any hello new engine

		maybe... it would help it even more if you removed it and put it on the shelf...then fitted a bosch. the lucas pump wont stop you driving then   Wishes for more power...

		99% of the xud engines I see on cars for sale all have Lucas pumps. I'm yet to find one with a Bosch pump?! Is there a particular age or model that comes as standard with Bosch pump or was it totally random?

		think it was something like pre-96...   peugeot are very much like the santana built suzukis in that respect..  what it should be, and what they had on the shelf at the time are always 2 very different things
