diesel fuel pump questions.

So haveing a conversation with a friend yesterday and got talking about the fuel pump in his vectra being on its way out and i wonder if its possible to fit a modified 306dt pump on it?
if it is then might end up doing that rather than spending £600 on a new one. cheers Daniel

Depends on the injection systems. The vectra is more than likely CR, but even then the mounting points might be different, same as the pulley or whatever type of drive it has...
Doesnt even own a 306.

Theres lots of scrapped Vectras about, why not just get a 2nd hand pump from one of them.
