Insurance - What should I buy?

Are you sure ?? i tohught it was over 125cc, meaning you couldnt ride a 125 on the motorway either,

But yeah restricted bikes dont count so you'v only been riding real bikes for a year

Learners cant go on motorways, they ride up to 125 cc, Its easy to get confused. I had to ring the dvla up to make sure at the time

Also you have to able to do over 38mph.

I've passed my car test since dec 2013 & at LV Fully comp on a 2.0 hdi 306 3dr, I'm paying 1500 quid.

I do have 4 years no claims on a full bike licence but they wouldn't accept them :/

If you pass your bike test at 18, think it's below the age of 21, you are on a restriction to 33bhp for 2 years. But can still ride any size bike ( as long as it was restricted to 33bhp)

Pretty sure you can do direct access at 24 which means you can ride any bike straight away, that's what I'm gonna be doing as my dads giving me his urban tiger fire blade in a fee years

It's dead easy. It's mainly about control. If you know how to ride a bike then your half way there. Consists of two parts, the obstacle course & the on road part. YouTube it, you have to go round a few cones do figure of 8's ect really easy if you have good control on a bike. Then for the road part it's mainly getting use to positioning of bike when approaching junctions. Mirrors, safety check ect. There's a lot going on when it comes to that lol

It isn't that expensive either. I might need to be corrected on this one but you have to sit a theory test again & do a CBT.

Yeah direct access, Learn on a 600cc, Just take your time. Take it in. don't rush it.. piss easy. (coming from a guy who FAILED a CBT..Who the f*ck does that!)

I've Crashed in to the back of a car.. While checking out a lass/not looking at the road

I think I'll give it a go, doesn't sound that hard considering I've plenty of experience. Always had field bikes when I was a kid (couldn't afford a crosser) and rode an XL125 on a CBT when I was 18 for a few months, so I've had a few anyway and my bike handling has always been pretty good having ridden road bikes round a muddy quarry a wet road shouldn't be an issue. I've had a couple of C90s, a Puch Maxi, an MZ 250, a Regent 125 (basically a UK market Minsk), and a KLX650 that I had as a field bike for years. Then I had the XL125 for a year; that's the only one that saw the road.

I'd love an old GPz900, wanted one ever since I saw Top Gun as a kid

Practice emergency brakes, Space awareness on the road and your sorted then.. Really there is f*ck all too it.
