Is there any difference between the 1.6/1.8 front springs and the ones on the 1.4? Huh

I would think so...

the 1.8 is a fair bit heavier than a 1.4

1.4/1.6 not really a difference, same weight in the front, 1.8 spring will be slightly firmer on a 1.4 iirc

The fronts are knackered on my 1.4, so I'm just wondering what I should replace them with. I'm fine with the standard, just making sure they'll fit (ebay is pretty vague as to which models the springs are designed for)

Well, the plan is for this to be my commuting car while I work on my nova, but suppose a cheeky 30mm wouldnt hurt. . .^^

If you get lower springs you need ones that are suited to you engine weight I.E 1.4/1.6 springs
