Looking for some aid with my s16 powered 205, its got a rather large inlet with a black plastic box on the end of it and i was looking to swap this out for the gti6 inlet which i've notice is alot cleaner looking, but having little knowledge of injection engines is putting me off trying, so i was wondering if any1 had any ideas that could help me Thanks

I no it can be done. But the s16 inlet is quite special as I understand it has vacuum operated valves in it which open up at a certain revs to give more power. Almost like vtec on hondas but obviously completely different

Tbh the s16 inlet system is pretty good when its working i have a s16 myself and have never had any issues with It in the 4 years I have owned it. And as complicated as it looks its a simple setup

I've had a few problems with my S16 AVAC system but kind of expect that from the age of the thing. I think some people do put GTi 6 inlets on but I don't know if they make much difference

They need remapping to run, There could be quite a gain when this is done, but if left OE its pretty bad, Livable but thats it
