Hi all. Have posted a few words in the past. Can anyone advise re hdi running temperature. I have had a new radiator fitted( old one fecked) and now temp is running at 89 degrees constantly even with heater running. Previously ran at a constant 78degrees, could it be the thermostat that is not opening and closing properly anymore. Will this highish temp cause problems re head warping.
Your suggestions/cure would be appreciated.
    Cheers.....not so happypug.

My car sits at about 80c I think that is normal for hdi from what I have read and seen,
Try thermostat see if that helps.

As others have said, check it's bled and if the rad gets hot fairly evenly. Failing that it sounds like a new stat, you can check yours in a cup of hot water, opens at 84 so should pop when you cover it in boiling water and close about a minute later.
